Nigeria – Urban Water Sector Reform and Port-Harcourt Water Supply and Sanitation Project and the Third National Urban Water Sector Reform Project – P-NG-E00-007 – ESIA

The Rivers State Government (RVSG) through the Port-Harcourt Water Corporation (PHWC) is implementing the Urban Water Sector Reform and Port-Harcourt Water Supply and Sanitation Project (UWSR & PHWSSP), and the Third National Urban Water Sector Reform Project (NUWSRP3). The project is to provide improved water and sanitation services for the entire population of Port Harcourt and Obio/Akpor Local Government Areas (LGAs). Beneficiaries of the project will include over 1.5 million inhabitants of the Port Harcourt metropolitan city. The project is co-financed by Rivers State Government (RVSG), African Development Bank (AfDB) and the World Bank (WB).
