The Honourable Minister of State

BELLO MUHAMMAD GORONYO ESQ, was born on the 1st day of January,1966 at Sabon Garin Dole in Goronyo Local Government Area of SokotoState.

He attended Kofar Marke Primary School Sokoto, Now Alhaji Alhaji ModelPrimary School. from 1975 – 1981, and later proceeded to Government College Sokoto, now Nagarta College Sokoto from 1981 – 1986, where he obtained his Secondary School Certificate, he also obtained a Diploma inLaw at the College of Art and Science Sokoto, in 1990. He then obtained a Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB) at the Usman Danfodio University Sokoto, in1997, and was Call to the Nigerian Bar in 2001 at the Nigerian Law SchoolBwari, Abuja.

He also holds a Master’s Degree in Energy Security Management from Nigerian Defence Academy Kaduna, Masters in Business Management and Leadership from London Graduate School, UK as well as Masters in Philosophy in Leadership and Strategic Studies, from Nigerian Defence Academy, (NDA), Kaduna.

BELLO MUHAMMAD GORONYO ESQ, a 2-times Member, Sokoto State House of Assembly, representing Goronyo Constituency between 2007 – 2015, where he served as Minority Leader, Deputy Leader and Deputy Speaker of
the Sokoto State House of Assembly.

He was later appointed as a Commissioner in the Government of Sokoto State from 2015 – 2018 where he served in the Ministries of Solid Minerals, Ministry of Energy Development and later Ministry of Information Sokoto State.
BELLO MUHAMMAD GORONYO ESQ, is a Party-Man who served in various party positions notable among them was the Zonal Secretary All Progressive Congress (APC) North West, he was also a Director National Youth Mobilization for the Asiwaju/Shettima 2023 APC Presidential Campaign Council North West Zone.

BELLO MUHAMMAD GORONYO ESQ, has Executive, Legislative and Judicial experience, and he is happily married with four (4) Children.
